Small Pleasures, Mya's Story
What is the main story line for the book, Small Pleasures? That isn't an easy question to answer but there is an answer. The story is about the many forms of abuse ( domestic, sexual, political, cultural and religious) and the domino affect they have on everyone, even those not directly affected.
I've been told that Christians, or the knee deep in strict Bible beliefs, will curse the book. So far I have not encountered any such people. Never. The. Less.
